A huge shout out and Thank You to the Hudson High School Boys and Girls Hockey teams for naming the Rhino's Foundation as the recipient of their 2017 Skate to Shutout Cancer (SK82
0) event . Each player went out and did their best to raise money to add to the pot for the team and they handed us a check for $2,175 Updated! $4,581! Wow! I heard a great story about one kid...AJ...who apparently hit up 50 different people at school for $1 to bring in $50 for the team. Nice! Rhino's Board members were on hand to speak with fans at the Hudson Civic Center on Friday Night's Girls game vs. Green Bay and Saturday afternoon's tilt for the Hudson Boys vs. Superior to get the word out on who we are and why we do what we do. We were able to speak to the crowd from the ice between periods and also did a cable TV interview in the booth on our mission. Great exposure for Rhino's in Hudson and a great contribution from those Hudson kids allowing us to help more people. See Below:
