Rhino's Updates and Events. Be a Rhino!

Hello to all Rhinos Foundation supporters and sponsors!

It has been a while since we have blogged, but much has happened over the last few months.  This notice serves to let you know of all upcoming events, update you on recent improvements to our foundation, solicit business sponsors for renewal of their sponsorships, let you know of some neat things that have happened.  Here Goes:

RhinoFest:  Minnesota Twins vs. Toronto Blue Jays

Join us in right field at Target Field on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 1:10 PM for a great day of Outdoor Baseball.  We have about 170 tickets for this event and they are going fast!  Reserve your TICKETS HERE:

RhinoGolf:  Friday, July 8, 2016 at 9:00 AM

Reserve your spot in our wildly popular and successful Rhino's Golf Tourney held on the Friday of River Falls Days each year.  You can pay for and reserve your spot RIGHT HERE!

Sponsorships:Make your Business a Rhino Sponsor,Right Here!

We have designed our website so that business owners can become part of Rhinos all on their own.  Check it out!   Your Sponsorship will last one year from the time of payment.  You can upload your own Logo, make payment, and choose your sponsor level.  Once you have made your payment, your information will show online.  You will be recognized at our annual golf event and on our website for one year.  We can do it for you as well, just write toInfo@RhinosFoundation.orgor call Keith 651-226-6352, or Brad at 651-755-4561.

Memorials: Memorialize your loved ones on our website.

Each year, we have more and more people that pay $100 to help fund Rhino’s Foundation and to recognize their loved ones lost to cancer at our Golf Tournament.  Typically we make a sign for the golf tourney and they are recognized during the tournament.  We have expanded this opportunity to be included on our web page for one year for each donation of $100.  You can have a picture and write a story for people to read about your loved one.  We have also been seeing more families and Rhino supporters ask people to donate to Rhino’s in lieu of flowers or donations to the family. To take advantage of this, send an e-mail to info@rhinosfoundation.org, or call Keith at 651-226-6352, or Brad at 651-755-4561.

RhinoRally:  We have not held this event for a couple of years and want to get this back on track.  We are looking for people interested in making this event happen.  We need leaders that will take the ball and run.  We can provide much support, but our time is already maxed with the other events.  In general, we are looking to hold a Mountain Bike Rally, a 5 or 10K walk, and potential other Events on the same day.  We feel this will be a good way to involve and expose more people and families to Rhino’s by having a full day of various family friendly events.  If you have ideas or an interest in helping to make this event a reality, please write to info@RhinosFoundation.org

Special Notes:  Last year we had a great deal of outside help in raising money for Rhino’s.  We would love to see this trend continue as it helps us to help more people, or it helps us to donate more to each person.  We are providing sponsorships for those that want them for doing this.  We want to do everything we can to recognize these efforts.  For example, Johnnie’s Bar, raised $2,000 for Rhinos in late 2015 by running a fundraiser on local beers over a period of time.  We are now recognizing Johnnie’s as a Diamond Sponsor for this amazing effort and gift to Rhino’s.  Thank you Johnnie’s!  Also, Dick’s Fresh Market ran a fund raiser for us late last summer raising close to $700 for Rhino’s, and they are now recognized as a Platinum Sponsor.  Thank you Dick’s Fresh Market!  The National Honor Society at River Falls High School raised and donated over $5,000 to Rhino’s last year.  We can’t thank the kids enough for this amazing gift.  We have made you a Diamond Sponsor of Rhino’s for the year so that people know how great our kids are.

Rhino’s Board Members:

Keith Van Dell, President | Brad Vier, Vice President | Mike Miller, Treasurer | Karri Van Dell, Secretary | Amy Jenkins, Board Member at Large.

We do have Board Meetings twice per year and we do take minutes and record our discussions.  You can request to see those by writing to info@Rhinosfoundation.org.  We have helped many people in the last few months thanks to everyone's generosity.

We hope to see you at all of our upcoming events.
